What is whirled flour?
A whirling mill grinds the whole grain on a solid, natural lava rock using a constantly circulating air stream. Very slowly, the kernels are ground into flour in a cold process. The large air current also means that the flour has a lower moisture content, which gives it a longer shelf life. The result is a very fine and fluffy wholemeal flour with all nutrients, valuable vitamins, enzymes and fibers preserved.
With whirled flour, you can therefore replace all the white flour, which gives a great benefit to health. Good and perfect for bread, pie doughs, pizzas, small pancakes, cakes and it also works well for biscuits.
Organic. We only grow organically and our products are free of additives.
Nutritious. In our flours, we make use of everything from the grain. This means that our flour contains more nutrition and fiber than ordinary flour.
